French aviator descended in field at 1.40 pm.  The French soldiers had some trouble with the crowd.  I had the parade before 2 pm to clear our men out of the way.
Visit Musee Rue de Perths in afternoon.  Saw some fine old carving (Italian) and old French cupboards, bureaux, china, prehistoric stone implements and paintings.
Had an enjoyable tune-up with Cpl Lesage (Petit Corporal), Professor (teacher) of music from Arras, home demobilised.
