Went for long walk, cold but bright sunshine.  My cold still troublesome, eyes watering.  Heavy rain and thunderstorm at night.

19th December 1914

Feel much better.  Throat sore.  Put in for Xmas leave.  Very wet.

18th December 1914

Stayed in bed.  Very wet.

17th December 1914

Caught bad cold.  Very wet.  Nearly all R.A.M.C. leave for 1,2,3,7 Divs.

16th December 1914

Very wet.

15th Dec 1914

Sgt Major Connelly and 100 arrive from Aldershot.

14th Dec 1914

Visited Le Havre and St Adresse, posted cards from the Belgian P.O. to Lena, Papa, Albert, Edwin, Arthur. Visited bungalow by the sea and with Madame and Miss Etzensperger drove home to tea.
