Wet day. 61 details gone to General Hosps etc. Most of them being specially sent out as clerks and typists (40).

11th December 1914

Very wet and cold.  Next camp flooded 1 foot over tent boards in parts.

10th December 1914

Ciappessoni twice saw to the tent during the night. Dry most of the daytime with sunshine.

9th December 1914

Move camp to Greville.  Heavy fatigues.  No food since breakfast. Terrible storm all night, rheumatism.

8th December 1914

First day for some time that it has not rained.

7th December 1914

French literature; Lettres de Mon Moulin par Alphonse Daudet,  Le Diciple par Paul Bourget, to be read on return.  Very wet day and night.
