The Occupants of a tent in camp, as an instance of the kind of men joining the R.A.M.C were as follows: 1 Journalist, 1 Doctor M.B.  F.R.C.S.,  2 Medical Students,  1 B.A.,  1 A.C.P.,  1 Analytical Chemist,  1 Miner,  1 Asylum Attendent,  1 Stockbroker,  2  Clerks,  1 Engine Driver,  1 Partner in large business, and 1 restorer of old china.
Bought a lamp 1.95 francs and 4 oil centimes.  Commenced French lessons with Chapagoni.
