Visit No.1 Conv. Depot.  Splendid arrangements for bathing. 40 baths with shower, hot and cold, washing and drying room, powerful engine with large boilers.  Tailors, shoemaker, carpenter and barber shops. Well fitted cookhouse, 16 ovens with well equipped sculleries.  Ideal arrangements for meals, tables lettered off by Companies, the food brought to the men.  Platform made at the end of one dining hut for concerts.  A stove is placed in each E.P.I.P. tent.  Paths raised 1 foot above level of ground.  Had a nice tea in Sgts mess.
