Beautiful afternoon on sands at Le Portel, sun very warm.  Spent evening with farmer's family and visitors.  Had plenty of fun and games (tippet etc). Convoy 60 (6 Germans).

Visit church and listen to the singing of the choir, very impressive and reverent.  Convoys 60 (2 Germans).

Heavy night with 3 convoys.  Convoys 130 to 12 midnight. Zeppelin raid on Southend, Leigh on Sea etc.
