Very warm day,  plant geraniums. 10 BX arrive from GC.  Convoy 11.

Convoy of 78 stretcher cases of wounded commenced 10.45 pm. on 28th, finished 4 am. on 29th.
Glorious morning, walk through Le Portel along sands to the pier, climbed up ladder onto pier and walk to the bend, hailed fishers passing.  Large Hospital Ship in the bay.  Climb up cliff road and then across fields back at 8.25, distance about 7 m, splendid walk.  Discontinued massage. Walk in evening with Mr D.

Visit Le Portel. Bright sunshine. Two hospital ships and two Torpedo boats in harbour.  Met a Belge refugee from Ostend, brother killed at Mons, father died of wounds.  One English and one French aeroplane overhead.  Visit Boulogne and obtain cards.  Convoy 40 (1 Gas)
