Church Service.  Hear of the fall of Antwerp.  Hear the story from Sgt Major Hall D.F.  of surrender of Lt Col Mainwaring and 2 D.F. and Lt Col Elkington,  Warwicks Rgt.  The mayor pressed the surrender in order to save the people and St. Quintin.  400 Warwicks and D.F. had piled arms in the station ready when a Lt Staff Officer rode up and showed them a way through the German lines.  The Colonels were afterwards cashiered.  Weather bright and sunny.
