On leave until 5th August, go to Abbeville.  Had dinner with Qm Sgt Dady and Sgts at HQ then returned to Boulogne.

Received orders to pack up and go to Abbeville.

Had swim at 6.30 am, gave Jer a lesson.

Met J and friend after bathe.

Le Portel in afternoon, bright and warm.  Had enjoyable bathe, rough sea.  Played croquet on the sands.
