Helped with haymaking in afternoon.

26th June 1915

Went to farm with several others to help with haymaking 2 to 7pm.  Slept very badly this night.

25th June 1915

Helped haymaking for a little while in evening.

23rd June 1915

P.O. 5/- Lena.  Pte Downs recommended for a F.G.C.M.
Lt Gilbert to No.8 Stationary Hospital.
Played Jones at chess.
Visit school in ......in..... at present........ Chemin de Fer.
Had a very interesting conversation with two daughters about Egyptian and Assyrian history.
